Over two years of filming beneath the surface. Over twenty years of passion a professional film work and photography. Two years living in Dahab, Egypt — on the shores of the Red Sea, in the heart of the freediving world. A town that, for freedivers, is what Chamonix is to mountaineers.

My experiences, my journey as a filmmaker and cinematographer, my love for the ocean — all of it distilled into 90 seconds of my showreel. A tribute to the most breathtaking underwater moments, the finest shots, and the memories that will stay etched in my heart forever.

Thank you to all the freedivers I’ve had the privilege to work with over the past two years — both as an underwater cameraman and photographer.

Top freediving athletes and coaches, egyptian national record holder Zahraa ElHusseiny and german record holder Stefan Randig invited me,  to join incredible freediving camp to film and deliver video assets for later commercial and promotional use. You’re watching after movie summarising November 2024 edition.

Legendary freediver William Winram challenged himself—and others—to lift a 10-kilogram weight from a depth of 30 meters, using only leg power and while negatively buoyant. My main goal was to capture a long take—a master shot of the entire action. I had to dive with William on a single breath down to 30 meters and return to the surface while filming him. The rest was all about capturing b-roll shots to build and edit the full story.

During a trip to Peru with my wife, we had a brief opportunity to connect with WWF Peru. As part of a broader project focused on waste management, we supported the Peruvian branch of WWF by producing this short video about an initiative they’re leading in the small fishing town of Los Organos on the Pacific coast.

On May 26, 2025, Petar Klovar broke a world record that had stood for nearly a decade—one long considered unbeatable. It happened on the fifth day of competition at the iconic Freediving World center in Sharm El Sheikh, one of the world’s top freediving spots. With a 103-meter dive, Petar marked the beginning of a new era in the CNF discipline. My role was to document this historic moment—as well as the rest of the competition days—and, as always, deliver an overnight video recap.
